2023 Subaru Outback Interior Features
The interior is designed with a blend of upholstered surfaces and several soft-touch plastics. The cabin is also well-insulated to prevent wind and road noise from outside. The seats are five, and they are bolstered to offer comfort. Manual adjustments and cloth upholstery are standard, but you can get upgrades like genuine leather upholstery, power adjustments, and heated and ventilated seats. The extended rear part results in ample cargo space for accommodating several suitcases. The cargo space is 32 cubic feet, but it increases when you fold the rear seats.

Performance Features
You have two engine options with the new Subaru Outback. The standard engine is a four-cylinder with 182 horsepower, while the optional engine is a turbocharged four-cylinder with 260 horsepower. Both engines are mated with continuously variable transmission and standard all-wheel drive. Based on the horsepower being produced by each engine, you should opt for the optional turbo-four if you want more acceleration power.
Despite its standard all-wheel-drive, you will get superb gas mileage ratings with either engine. The base engine registers 33 mpg on the highway and 26 mpg in the city. The turbocharged engine records 26 mpg combined city and highway. With the Wilderness trim, the ratings will dip further.
The handling is precise, and it comes from the quick responsive steering wheel and sturdy brakes. Also, the new Subaru Outback is an excellent choice for off-roading since it comes with adequate ground clearance, a well-tuned suspension, and a traction control system. The towing capacity is 3,500 pounds with the turbo-four and 2,700 pounds with the non-turbo engine.
Technology Features
A well-equipped infotainment system accompanies the new Subaru Outback. The infotainment system brings various tech features, including two infotainment touchscreens, a standard 7-inch, and an optional 11.6-inch touchscreen. Both touchscreens are responsive to inputs, and they feature Apple CarPlay, HD radio, satellite radio, Bluetooth connection, and Android Auto integration. In-dash navigation and a Wi-Fi hotspot are offered on the 11-inch touchscreen. More infotainment features include a 12-speaker audio system, remote keyless entry, push-button start, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
